Art Remington tells us that, despite the darkness of the hour, God’s light will shine through by Grand Awakening published on 2022-10-13T13:43:12Z Art Remington, Jr., despite being in ministry for over 55 years, describes himself as a “footwasher for Jesus.” He is the Pastor and National Ambassador-at-Large for Promise Keepers, a ministry he has been involved with since 1994. Art also currently serves in two other capacities: he is a staff pastor for Project 200, a disciple-making ministry; and he is a pastor/partner at Come Behold Israel ministry. Art prepared for a career in ministry by attending Northwestern College in Minnesota and spent a number of years in various churches as a youth and college pastor. Art and his dear wife Miriam reside in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Anyone who knows Art, knows him to be perennially upbeat as evidenced by the fact that one of his favorite expressions is that he is “Blessed and Highly Favored of the Lord.” In this podcast, Art Remington, Jr. shares how God has wonderfully led him through the trials and tribulations of his life to being used powerfully by God in many different venues of ministry including Promise Keepers. Despite realistically seeing our nation and culture increasingly antagonistic to the truths of Scripture, Art is incredibly hopeful that God is moving powerfully and will usher in revival and spiritual awakening as we pray and obey. We especially need Christ-following men who will boldly and lovingly share and live the truth. Genre Religion & Spirituality
