Salvator by Gottland published on 2014-05-17T19:40:17Z Music: Gottland Words: Jan Ducheyne This song was part of an audiovisual show by strOhm, made for 'Mechelen Houdt Je Warm 2013' at St Rumbold's Tower (Mechelen). All sounds are original recordings of the carillon (especially the bells called 'Salvator', 'Rumoldus' and 'Sint-Jan Berchmans') and the clock mechanism inside the tower. In a next stage, the recordings were effected, resampled and sequenced. A spoken word poem about 'time' by Jan Ducheyne completed the track. http://vimeo.com/86977511 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYc7MM5Zcvc http://sintromboutstoren.mechelen.be/nl/press/9021/toren-onder-strohm.html Genre Spoken Word Sequenced Field Recordings
