Global Crash blurs the lines of all techno and electronic music, not being satisfied with just one subgenre of the genre. Dabbling in techno, ambient, electronica, house, big beat, trance, downtempo, experimental, IDM, electro, chill-out , glitch, and breakbeat, Global Crash is the brainchild of Paul Holder who lives in Narragansett, Rhode Island, USA. Global Crash is at both times; music to make you wanna dance, and music to make you contemplate the meaning of existence. The sole member of Global Crash, Paul Holder starting making electronic music in 1996, in different solo projects and collaborations with friends, starting off with an ambient mix tape called "Disturb the equilibrium", doing the soundtrack music for an independent play written by Jenny Hurricane, lead singer of the punk band Midnight Creeps, then moving onto his own material going under the names Ear Begin Look and Beat Assembledge. He then took a hiatus from making music around 2003. He started back up again in 2008, creating Global Crash, and has stuck with it ever since. Global Crash's main influences are: The Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, MIA, Dj Shadow, Brian Eno, Slowdive, The Orb, Fatboy Slim, Paul Oakenfold, Deadmau5, Crystal Method, Skinny Puppy, Seefeel, Tricky, Autechre, Future Sound of London, My Bloody Valentine, Death in Vegas, The Prodigy, Mouse on Mars, Bowery Electric, Funkstorung, Paul Van Dyk, Hybrid, Orbital, Tiesto, Underworld, Ian Van Dahl,Luke Slater and 4 Strings, just to name a few!!! Global Crash also DJ's under the same name, spinning the various genres of big beat techno, electro, house, mash-ups, remixes, electronica, breakbeat, and also some ambient, idm, and glitch, indie, brit pop, underground, shoegaze, dream-pop, old school funk and disco, baggy madchester anthems, northern british soul, alternative, psychedelic 60' and 70's gems, 80's favorites, funky current and old school hip hop/rap. Global Crash is available for: live gigs, art exhibitions, gallery openings, fashion shows, cafe's, festivals, RAVES, block parties, house parties and available to do music/sound design for soundtracks to movies or plays, and anything else you can think of!!!!
