GVR1211 — Boogie Nite — Shine EP 12" by Glenview Records Inc published on 2013-03-23T10:02:10Z Tracklist: A1 Shine A2 Gotta A Lot Of Static B1 The Happy Song B2 Hit & Runnin Juno Plus Review: Emerging Chicago groover Boogie Nite gets his Glenview debut, and it's a rather remarkable piece of work. With a sound set that bumps and bulges with a really trippy edge, his overall approach can be compared to Derrick Carter, but played underwater on really heavy sedatives. His native Chi-town jack is there but there's an overall psychedelic, cosmic flavour going on. From the dreamlike whirls and twirls of "The Happy Song" to the star-gazing Henrik Schwarz style shimmers of the title track, this really is quite special. Supported by: Marcel Vogel Aka Em Vee, Juno Recommends Disco, Vladislav Moustache Love, Get Down Edits, Red Greg Genre Disco Comment by edel i like it very much ! 2015-01-29T22:41:25Z Comment by Rawhouse Records Chicago Man, tight ep. 2014-03-13T18:30:01Z Comment by pelski Played this EP a lot this summer - great stuff. 2013-10-17T08:43:01Z Comment by Glenview Records Inc B2 Hit & Runnin 2013-03-23T10:02:35Z Comment by Glenview Records Inc B1 The Happy Song 2013-03-23T10:02:29Z Comment by Glenview Records Inc A2 Gotta A Lot Of Static 2013-03-23T10:02:25Z Comment by Glenview Records Inc A1 Shine 2013-03-23T10:02:17Z
