He is the son of the German theatre & film actress Karin Ugowski and of the recently died theatre & film director & actor Helmut Straßburger. He is the founder of REQQORD music (formerly Slow Jam Music, often credited as SLO'JAM or Slow Jam Studios)and MAURSEGLER film production and was the composer & music producer of quite a few successful Urban music artists around the world and Hollywood film scores. His work is trackable in Hollywood motion pictures like e.g. "Transformers 3" or "The Equalizer", Urban records, computer games like GTA and many compilations. His work as a film maker can be designated to the film d'auteur. His work as a music artist and music producer can be designated to Jazz, Downbeat, Trip Hop and Souljazz/Jazzfunk music, while his classical orchestra compositions & conductions also have paved the way to be credited as a notable film score composer over the years.
