Gianmarco Fabbretti is an artist, music producer and sound engineer from Italy.
Born in Orvieto (Italy) in 1991, he starts his musical journey in 2008 with the discovery of DAWs and sound synthesis. Self-taught for many years, he approaches the composition of electronic music through the strong influences of artists such as deadmau5, Scooter, Armin Van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Above & Beyond, Depeche Mode and the Daft Punk. Probably the strongest influence come from the music of the legendary 80s, which will lead him to get closer and closer to modern synthwave music and it will accompany him in most of his compositions.
In 2011 he dedicates himself to the production of progressive house and trance music, developing his own sound. In the following year he starts a project with the artist and producer Alex Melfi that end in 2013. For two years he devoted himself to the study of piano and the research of new sounds.
The 2015 can be referred to as the beginning of his musical career, with the very first EP "Green And Orange", released under the label Fuzzy Recoridngs. From here it’s a continuous series of releases, including singles, remixes and Ep on labels like Intricate Records, Tiefhaus Recordings, Perplexity Music, June 87 Recordings, Emergent Music and Alter Ego.
In 2016 he was supported by the very famous radio show Group Therapy by the Above & Beyond in the episodes 214, 215 and 216 thanks to his track “Eleven”, released the same year on Fuzzy 80s, sub label of Fuzzy Recordings. He also receives supports from international artists such as Shane 54, Jaytech, Stan Arwell, Druce, Store N Forward and channel like TheGrandSound.
In 2017 he releases his first album "Old Stones", ranging from progressive to synthwave, collaborating with different artists and singers.
In 2018 he starts to study audio engineering, focusing on the aspect of mixing and mastering. he works on soundtracks for local multimedia projects and In the summer of the same year he begin a project with Paride Cannone (artist and musician). "Mr. Daddy" stands out among the works of the year, supported by "New Retro Wave" YouTube channel. It receives other supports on other channels like NeonNights, Luigi Donatello and ThePrimeThanatos for other projects of the same kind.
In 2019 he is the mixing engineer for some work, including the EP "We Can Fly" by Marko Ruberto.
He currently works on new productions and on his next album.
