Get Up Recordings New York City Get Up Recordings was created to give artists the freedom to break their own boundaries and push through the ceiling of mediocre dance music. The label will focus on jack, tech and acid beats, yet it will be almost impossible to categorize the label into any one style. The label was founded by New York production duo, House of Stank, whose idea is to simply conduct a label that produces quality dance music with reliable consistency. That idea is what formulated the label’s talent roster, which will showcase a diverse spectrum of artists, including Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson, David Harness, Johnny Fiasco, Rob Rives and House of Stank. Some are veterans, some are up-and-coming, but all are artists who share the same idea about breaking the mold and erasing the formula of conventional dance music.
