Gerald Koch Gert Van Looy Willebroek Growing up with music all his live, Gerald Koch only started mixing at a fairly old age (24). He developed a large musical spectrum throughout his life, but his love and heart lies within techno since the age of 16. Visiting techno festivals and - parties and listening many mixtapes and life performances finally made him fall for the deep and dark spectrum of the techno scene. With the upcoming succes of digital DJ'ing, Gerald started making his own mixtapes for home listening and car trips etc. What eventually started with an all in one controller and bedroom DJ'ing, started running out of hands and grew do a DJ set with 4-channel mixer and two stand alone controllers in collaboration with a laptop and Traktor Pro. Even a few small gigs came up! Nothing special, but hey, it was never the intention to do gigs... At this point, I enjoy buying tracks I really love and using them in mixtape sessions, which I always try putting together in the highest standards I'm capable of. I'm doing this by using skills and techniques I developed by listening to others tapes and livesets. I hope I'm doing a good job and don't disappoint my listeners. It will not all be perfect and mint, 'though, as I'm fully aware of the fact I'm not going to be the next Carl Cox or some other techno hero... As for my mixtapes, they usually aren't accompanied by tracklists, but I'm more then willing to share every ID anyone would like to know. I'm also open for all kinds of comments and critics. Thanks for visiting my page and enjoy listening!
