Palimpsest 18 (1985) by Gerald Trimmel published on 2018-10-22T11:20:47Z Palimpsest 18 (1985) I wanted to break as many rules as possible – regarding the structure as well as the standards of professional audio quality. So I decided to use amateur tapes and a prepared consumer cassette recorder. I removed the erasing head and recorded on the same tape again and again. After that I rubbed my fingerprints down on the magnetic surface of the tape with the help of a nailfile. The final mastering was done on a Revox A 80 studio tape.
