Before she was a health counselor at a clinic in Chicago she served as a supply systems manager Airman First Class in the American Air Force. Under Don't Ask Don't Tell she was discharged early and moved to Atlanta to peruse a career in music. With a part time job and no real guidance she left Atlanta for her hometown, Mobile, Alabama. While exploring her identity and the Gay scene in Mobile she found herself homeless and needing escape once more. In 2007 she moved to Chicago where she fostered a community of supporters who've encouraged her to pick up rapping again as well as supporting her through the difficulty of transitioning genders. At the height of Trans visibility in American society Kaycee is ready to let go of all her insecurities and tell her story to the world. Her story which is filled with love and family is truly remarkable and inspirational. She refuses to live like a statistic and rather than be remembered for who she was she is forcing us all to appreciate her presences through her lyrical prowess.
