FutureCoast Voicemails of the Future There’s a lot we don’t know about our possible futures, but one thing we do: they've got a software glitch in them, in the voicemail system. So voicemails of the future are getting sent back to our time. Yeah. Weird. We Coasters worked through the 4th Chronofall (2014-18) to find these voicemails and listen to the futures they're happening in. So now you can listen to them too. Now, straight talk: FutureCoast is an experiment in participatory cli-fi. The voicemails you hear were authored and performed by the public. Hundreds of people called in to contribute their ideas – the ones posted here are just a sample. The goal is to use FutureCoast's fictional premise to springboard our thinking about possible futures.
