Hosted by pianist Peter Dugan, this is From the Top’s first ever “Blanket Fort” show. In response to the COVID-19 crisis and the need for social distancing, this episode features young musicians recording themselves in their own homes (in makeshift studios or “Blanket Forts”)and doing long-distance musical collaborations under From the Top’s supervision. Performers include a 14-year-old pianist performing Schumann’s ABEGG Variations and a young violinist whose parents are both physicians on Long Island working through the COVID-19 crisis.
