What's your take on the current techno landscape? I think for a scene to be strong many venues/spots have to bring many artists and promoters communicating with each other in order to bring the scene together, not apart. It might sound hard to do but somewhat reachable. Sometimes one club or click will try to take over the techno audience and I think thats minimum for a scene. There are always ups and downs in every scene small or big, drama, good times, good friendships and networking. Bad people mixed with good people. As long as there is talent flowing in to expose their music and artists are showed respect it can go strong. The hard work of locals (or artists who live in the area related to the techno or EDM industry) who are very talented as well that invest in the scene. You were born and grew up in the Dominican Republic. What influences do you feel you took from there that apply to your music? Dominican Republic early in my years and then Florida (Miami/Orlando) in my teens until now. When I was very young my dad from Germany played records most of the time for me where I was introduced to the vinyl format. I went to music classes and took some piano lessons. Then in middle school I started collecting all kinds of music. I pick some influences from back home sometimes and make my own interpretation. I take all kinds of influences from everywhere. As a producer, what is in your studio; all in the box or outboard gear? I don't limit myself and try different things. I started in the box and now going towards outboard gear. I have a Mac book pro newer one with OS / Native instruments Audio 10 sound card / Motu audio express Sound card / 2 Traktor control x1 when I dj / For live pa: APC 40 - Evolution UC-33 - Maschine mk2 - Launchpad. What were some of the more memorable gigs? Definitely the Germany trips I had this past 2012 (Osnabruck - Cologne - Hamburg - Berlin) when I actually started playing outside the United States. Some local parties with local friends in Denver as well. Any upcoming projects, releases, touring, etc.. you'd like share with us for 2013?
