On the album, I share personal stories about myself that I would only tell either to my closest friends, or have never told anyone at all. My album discusses topics such as bullying, stereotypes, parental expectations, culture shift, and more. I named this album "Dragon of the West" as a reference to Uncle Iroh (Avatar), who has always been one of my favorite cartoon characters growing up. It's also a description of my status as someone who was born in China and was raised here in America.
