Francesco Pavan Musician Francesco Pavan (1975), after studying piano, composition and choral music at the B. Marcello Conservatory of Venice, he devoted himself to composition, studying with Beat Furrer at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz and to conducting, studying with Emilio Pomarico at the Civica Scuola di Musica di Milano. His particular interest in the repertoire of the Twentieth century and contemporary led him to make contact and to work with artists, ensemble and composers, to create and perform new music. As composer and conductor he took part in numerous festivals and events, including 64°Biennale Musica di Venezia, Traiettorie Parma, Ex Novo Venezia, Arizona State University (USA), Ljubljana Festival (Slovenia), Impuls Graz (Austria), Nuovi Spazi Musicali Roma, Unerhörte Musik Berlin, Astra Melbourne, Cantiere di Montepulciano, Compositori a confronto in Reggio Emilia, Ring–Ring Festival in Belgrade. He has given master classes and composition seminars at CIT School of Music Cork, University of Malta, Conservatorio Superior de Musica di Salamanca, Arizona State University, Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica Madrid, Ljubljana Academy of Music. He produces musical and educational projects with the Youth Orchestra Giovani Musicisti Veneti. He teachs at the B. Marcello Conservatory of Venice.
