Formerly known as Airborne and born Anthony Tyrone Williams, FlygerWoods is mobilized to pioneer a new breed of Southern rap. The 28-year-old Missouri City, Texas native pays homage to the Houston legends that shaped his style, but knows it's time for his city to turn the page lyrically speaking. It has been a journey of lessons filled with realization and transformation for FlygerWoods, who turned a nearly fatal car wreck into a devout passion for creating, performing and writing original music. Following his well received self-titled debut “FlygerWoods” in October 2016, the rapper has amassed considerable press, consistently booked shows, toured and opened for multiple national acts throughout 2017 as well as performing at SXSW as an official artist. In 2017 FlygerWoods turned his focus on the building of his brand and label FWM Creative. Inspired by the acronym for FlygerWoods Music, FWM garnered attention almost immediately with Flygers first merch piece, the FWM Trucker. Fine Southern Gentlemen out of Austin, Texas took notice and distribution was quickly in place launching FWM to a national market. FlygerWoods is slated to release his second album “My Middle Name Is Tyrone” Fall 2018.
