A Tribe called Quest 'Midnight Marauders' live Subterania 2.12.94 London UK Rest in Power Malik Isaac Taylor aka Phife Dawg, Nov 20 1970- March 23 2016. This is a super rare recording of one of Quest's last shows together on UK soil. The improvisation, live beat-making and freestyles are just amazing, really representing the golden era of this genre. The outstanding documentary 'Beats Rhymes & Life - Travels of a tribe called Quest reminded us of the genius but to hear a full live show with all the classics is something else... Abstract radio just featured this recording on the special tribute show...I'm humbled. OH MY GOD! I was there - I didn't know it was recorded?! It was one LIVE SHOW! It was hot, rammed packed with real hip headz jumping around. QTip climbed the on top of the speaker stack to vibes with the people upstairs - which is where I was. I nearly lost my mind at that gig - i was such a lil tomboy then lol! Got goose bumps hearing this again. Thank you.

I wish I was there. I also wish this show was released as a live album on cd with proper sound quality. Thanks for putting this on and recording it though. Despite the sound hiccups...I find myself listening to it a lot. Cheers from Detroit, MI
