To be an artist is to exist in duality; the ups and the downs, the private and the public, the individual and the collective, the confidence and the critique, the questions and the answers... This spectrum of everyday existence contributes to the everyday plight of finding the balance between unflappable confidence and crippling self-doubt through the means of our constant creations and how we navigate through these different existences is what makes us, us. It is within creating that reminds the artist that they are capable of creation, and with every step in this journey an opportunity for growth is born. Each song on this project represents familiar stages of this journey. Though the ranges of emotions lie on a spectrum, the spectrum is cyclical and continuous. This is why the album both starts and ends with a question. What are the answers to these questions?
