FernLodge Joe M Charlottetown Fernlodge is Joe Millar… A sound sculptor from Prince Edward Island, Canada who has been sculpting and composing sound for the last 20 years … Working with Analog modular and instruments made by Peter B of Ciat-Lonbarde he incorporates found sounds and natural acoustics to create works based in fragmented memories from fiction and real events… His lengthy processes and social phobias have unfortunately robbed him of his ability to play in live settings but his early career had him working with fellow sound sculptors including Edmonton's Nano Uribe, Honer and Gary Joynes (Clinker)… He graduated from Alberta College of Art and Design in 1998 with a BFA in sculpture… Now he lives in a forrest with his lovely wife and little cat...
