Listen as Tatiana and Benhameen discuss the best and worst of NYCC, hosting the Watchmen Panel, and what are some of their plans for next year! Make sure you are subscribed to our YouTube channel for much more from NYCC: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0o2akGXs4slRnq2fwyWp1Q But that's not all, since we were a bit tied up this weekend, we had to bring in our super engineer Brother Chris to give his review of JOKER. Plus our usual geekquently asked questions segment, where we discuss what was the moment that we realized we were Black Geeks? Genre Entertainment Comment by User 836088922 that amber alert skit is rdcworld1 and/or supremedreams 2019-10-23T18:08:07Z Comment by Shanice The film definitely does have a message and does raise good points about the treatment of people with mental healthy. Appreciate Ben's point of view but I think he needs to see the film first before applying this critique of it having no message 2019-10-14T07:07:38Z Comment by dj lilt some day we have round table chat with you and him 2019-10-13T21:56:06Z Comment by dj lilt watch man after show host for all nerds comimg ? 2019-10-13T21:42:29Z Comment by dj lilt its great movie, great stand alnone movie. but in greatert life story of joker this guy way to dumb to be the joker that bat face this only dc joker movie by name the vilian 2019-10-13T21:24:05Z Comment by juanes007 ben not wrong about any of wat he saying. watever the producer talking abt smh f all that. sidenote, save 1 scene joker is incredible loll and ben will see. 2019-10-10T19:35:09Z Comment by Amberlynn I'm SO SAD that I didn't get to see Tatiana while I was there. I was only there for 2 days and am so thankful for the invite to the Watchmen screening and panels. Next year, I'm hoping to be there all 4 days and am DEFINITELY getting a picture with BOTH of yall lolol 2019-10-09T19:30:52Z Comment by Amberlynn Patreon exclusive? *eyes emoji* 2019-10-09T19:29:30Z Comment by Amberlynn For me, it was definitely The Fifth Element. Not only did I get Ruby Rhod (which as a young black queer kid, that was amazing) and probably one of the first Black presidents in a scripted project. Still my favorite movie of all time. 2019-10-09T19:11:53Z Comment by Amberlynn Yess! Thank you for inviting me to it! It was amazing and I am SO excited to watch the show and pick up the graphic novel 2019-10-09T18:29:56Z Comment by Amberlynn I was literally just cracking up at a video of someone pulling the long ass CVS receipt across the floor with the Star Wars theme in the background 2019-10-09T18:21:43Z
