I'm Falcito - electronic musician, producer and sound designer from Germany NRW. Already in childhood, I started to play music on an electronic organ (today's name for a keyboard).
I grew up in the midst of the most impressive era of electronic music. I experienced the genesis of Rave, Wave, Acid, New Beat and later Synth Pop as well as the youth culture of the techno scene. In addition, I was extremely influenced by my role models. For me this includes electronic music of the 70s, 80s and 90s like Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Richie Hawtin, Tangerine Dream, Anne Clark, Front242, Depeche Mode, Yello and of course a lot more musicians.
In the same way I was allowed to experience the development of the synthesizers. The big names like Korg, Roland, Moog, Oberheim, Yamaha, Casio and many more have really impressed me. The money for such an instrument was missing. But there was luckily my teacher for organ lessons. He had some of these inaccessible instruments in his studio. After a successful lesson, I was allowed to play as a reward on one of the synthesizers, but to the chagrin of the teacher. On the one hand, I always made a lot of noise and it did not take long before I put on a headphone and on the other he got me off the instrument later. Already here, as a child, I had the great desire to someday own a synthesizer on which I can experiment undisturbed.
At the beginning of the 80s it was time, under the Christmas tree my first synthesizer was a Yamaha DX7. Now the madness took its course, because no one got me away from the device. If my parents had not been so energetic, I would have even forgotten eating and drinking. What annoyed me the most, I recorded certain sequences again and again over hours. When I was finally satisfied, I recorded it all, using a cassette recorder. When friends visited me, they always wanted me to play something. I then played rehearsed sequences from a recent track of the charts, so I obviously impressed even then. I still remember well how my friends used to say to me, you're sure to become a musician later, that sounds really damn good.
Meanwhile, all this is already over 30 years back and on the long journey through the electronic music I got to know a lot of highly talented musicians, exchanged with them and made friends. Among them are well-known musicians from the electronic music scene.
For many years, I have only ever presented my productions to a very small group. At some point, however, the voices of the listeners and fans were so loud that there was no way around to go public with my music.
In 2018 I searched intensively for a label, made countless contacts and started to distribute my music. My listeners and fans have remained loyal to me and I am really pleased and proud that there are more and more.
I will give everything to reward my listeners and fans with my music. The passion for electronic music is unbroken and remains my greatest passion. Thanks to the support of my listeners and fans, you make sure that it stays that way and that I can live my dream.
The core of my electronic music productions is in the genres: Electro, Electronica, Progressive House, Trance and sometimes Experimental.
For my productions I use older analog, modern digital and modular musical instruments. In principle, I am always particularly involved in the synthesis of the instruments. If this is an older analog instrument, it can sometimes take months for me to produce satisfying sounds. In the end, however, it is extremely important to me that each of my tracks contains my unique handwriting "Made by Falcito".
Incidentally, I actually still have my first electronic organ on which I started many years ago as a child with the music and my Yamaha DX7, this is also still ready for use in my home studio.
Now I hope to have given you a good insight with my biography, if you have further questions, you can write to me.
Bye for now,
