Joining us on this edition is Dorothy Keenan. She is the champion of GrandInvolve, a volunteer program that links older adults with volunteer opportunities in elementary schools. She talks about the program and how you can become involved. Dorothy retired in 2008 from Fairfax County where she supervised the county’s 13 senior centers. She now serves on the boards of several community organizations including the Chesapeake Life Planning Network, the Positive Aging Coalition, the Fairfax Long Term Care Coordinating Council and RSVP. She is also an advocate of planning for Encore Careers in retirement.
