Jean Rondeau Bach Allemande by Fabrice Chantôme published on 2013-01-13T16:23:12Z This a recording I made by the end of december in the big orchestral room of the french national conservatory in Paris. It was my first test using Neumann digital microphones connected to a Sound devices portable recorder, both being locked to Antelope audio Trinity + 10M atomic clock generator. I was amazed by the extreme transparency this technology offers, no analogue cables loss, no hums or hf interference, a wide natural and focused stereo image and all the richness of the original instrument giving the feeling of being there again. This is a good way to discover the extremely talented harpsichord player Jean Rondeau who also plays piano and composes jazz scores for Note forget, the project. His aim is to make a wider audience enjoy his ancient but favourite instrument, I hope these tracks will help ! You can also have a look at the HD videos on Youtube.
