ten teeth of twenty - complete works (album preview) by Experimedia published on 2013-03-14T15:23:30Z *Excerpts from the album. Now available from Experimedia.net.* When working on a score and soundtrack for television and film, it is imperative that a musician be versatile enough to handle the myriad different scenarios that will present themselves – from car chases to wedding ceremonies with many other cliches in between. And Joseph Minadeo, with a musical history steeped in both mediums, proves he most certainly can do that with the divergent moniker Ten Teeth of Twenty. Under his own name he often releases hushed soundscapes that delicately hang in their air (most recently heard on "Sounds for a Photograph"), but the "Complete Works" of Ten Teeth of Twenty find him in much darker, sleeker, and more obtrusive territory. The album is decidedly more urban, with big electronic beats, twisting synthesizer lines, and frenetic pacing that indicates it's an ode to his Los Angeles home. – Ryan Potts, Experimedia In some ways, TToT is a semi-throwback to late 80's/early 90's industrial and electronic music. Part instrumental diss tracks and part simple but unsettled downtempo and dance tracks.
