ANU Awards Honorary Doctorate to Marty Natalegawa by Experience ANU published on 2016-12-14T03:44:07Z On 14 December 2016, former Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa was awarded a Doctor of Letters (honoris causa) at ANU, for his role in building Australia-Indonesia ties and for his leadership in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. Dr Natalegawa was Foreign Minister of Indonesia between 2009 and 2014 and is an ANU alumnus who completed his PhD in International Relations in 1993.
