Gregory Elich On The DPRK by Eva K Bartlett

With the escalating and dangerous rhetoric emanating from Washington and its corporate media lackies about the supposed dangers of North Korea, the following conversation with Gregory Elich is more relevant than ever.
Mr. Elich is on the Advisory Board of the Korea Policy Institute and is a member of the Task Force to Stop THAAD in Korea and Militarism in Asia and the Pacific. He is also a member of the Solidarity Committee for Democracy and Peace in Korea, and a columnist for Voice of the People.

In December, Mr. Elich and I spoke about the Korean peninsula, past and present. Unfortunately, the recording is garbled in some places, due to the laptop I was using and likely also the connection. I've done my best to cut out the most annoyingly-garbled spots while trying to leave the discussion as intact as possible.
A positive note is that I since have a new, functioning, laptop and a microphone, which I'll put to use for future conversations, and will certainly ask Mr. Elich to return, as his knowledge on the Koreas, is vast, and his commitment to the restoration of peace on that peninsula commendable.
