Eternyx Rio de Janeiro Band from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), formed in 2008. The name Eternyx is a fusion of the words 'Eternal', the primordial Greek goddess of the night and 'Nyx', the mother of the divinities Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death). Representing strength, mystery and the beauty of the dark night. Therefore the name was chosen as a symbol of the sound. With influences from Death/Doom Progressivel, the band members are Aline Vandrak (vocals), Luana Braga (bass), Sarlik (Guitar), Julio Cesar (Keyboards) and Leo Birigui (Drums), with the mission to innovate the musical scene.
