Attention proves what? Interest? Care? Value? But what kind of attention?

Attention is such an interesting resource to realize I have in my pocket. I do need to put my hand in the pocket and pull it out to have it, and if I forget it’s there, or forget to pull it out, it can be spent wantonly on the most inane things. Hours can go by and the sun has set, and I’m where I started, eyes bleary from my pocket computer being held inches from my face.

Project Space artist Ashley Bedet talked about the process of developing a rolled chord of sunlight unfurled, and discussed how the theme of attention formed the work itself.
