Curriculum Tools for Discussing Race & Racism in Midwifery by Equity in Education

Listen to this webinar to learn about curriculum tools for discussing race and racism in midwifery in order to promote equity in midwifery education. The importance of incorporating anti-racist content throughout the midwifery curriculum will be discussed and strategies for how to accomplish this through “curriculum threading” will be explored. The concepts of “structural competency” and “critical race theory” will be introduced and participants will learn how to apply these educational frameworks in their own context.
