Endrah was founded in 2002 by guitarist Covero, drummer Fernando Schaefer and bassist T.J. At that time, the band was called Ink, but as it turned out, there was another band with that name. So, in 2004 they changed to Endrah with the addition of Billy Graziadei of Biohazard fame and vocalist, Scream.
The band’s first collection of songs was recorded as a 5 song E.P. entitled: Demonstration with Billy Graziadei (Biohazard) on second guitar and original vocalist, Scream. When Endrah started the pre-production of their first full-length album (Self-Titled and released by Coretex Records in Europe, and Dynamo Records in Brazil), Biohazard began working again and Billy Graziadei could not keep up with the commitments needed for Endrah. He respectfully left the band in August 2005 officially, and has remained a friend and fan of the band.
In early 2005, Endrah published an official announcement to the whole world recruiting the next front-man. Singers from several countries sent material stressing that the band was already respected and admired in different places and cultures. Vocalist, Relentless an American from San Francisco, California, was the one chosen. The disturbed lyrics written by Relentless found the musical fury of Endrah to be a match. The result was the first album, the band namesake - Endrah. In It, the band managed to move the limits of hardcore and death metal in a combination of a very technical and overwhelming new trend. The band toured Brazil twice in 2005. Other tours were in 2006, 2008 (w/ Unearth),
2010 (w/ Hatebreed), 2012, and 2014.
In 2010, after the exit of drummer Fernando Schaefer, the band added the amazing young talent of Bruno Santin, known in Brazil for his versatile playing. Thus, they recorded the second full length album entitled The Culling. (released by Epochal Artists/Caroline USA, Sangre Records Brazil) The release was launched in the 2012, with 9 well-structured new songs, following a natural sound development, while maintaining their trademark heavy hits, technique, poly-rhythms, and groove.
The Culling was recorded in Da Tribo studio (Krisiun) in São Paulo, and mastered by Jamal Ruhe in Allen Douches’ West West Side Studio in New York. In the same year, Endrah toured in support of The Culling with headlining tours in the United States and Brazil.
In 2014 Endrah released its current single, Cadaver Na Barragem, on a Brazilian music compilation. The band toured Brazil for the release.
Now moving into 2016, Endrah has welcomed new bassist Adriano Vilela (ex- Trator BR) and has a new collection of songs soon being recorded for an undetermined record label, as well as plans for a major Brazilian headlining tour in May 2016.
