To the resonating and hauntingly ethereal accompanied by supple bird-like trills, which has the ability to completely transfix, leaving the audience silent, hairs standing on end. Emily's writing is deeply personal. Singing the tidings of lover, daughter and sister, her lyrics form direct and personal messages chronicling a moment. The candour of her lyrics reveal a wistful astuteness, exploring the struggle to reconcile her thoughts and feelings with her actions.
