Elizabeth and the Catapult Elizabeth Ziman Brooklyn www.elizabethandthecatapult.com I recorded four albums (with one on the way), as well as one EP. Taller Children was recorded with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes), and was bolstered by Commercials for Google, Amazon and Sky TV. My second full length, The Other Side of Zero (2010) was produced by Tony Berg (Aimee Mann, Jesca Hoop) and featured Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings on the title track. This album drew interest from actress Anne Hathaway, who used the song "Thank You For Nothing" to inspire her for her emotional hair cutting scene in Les Miserables. Hathaway later cast me as a street musician in a film about New York Musicians called "Song One". Over the last ten years, I have toured with Sara Bareilles, Greg Laswell, Lenka, and Kishi Bashi and was honored to open for Sara Bareilles at Madison Square Garden Theater. I also played in Kishi Bashi's band and sang backgrounds for both The Waterboys and The Shins. In January 2017, I released my fourth album, Keepsake. This year I'll release my fifth album, "sincerely, e."
