James Brown & Seattle grunge had a son who was raised by Prince=E L L I S O N Ellison is a pop/R&B artist out of Motown whose music blends contemporary pop with classic r&b. In his music you'll hear the fire of James Brown and the grit of Seattle grunge. You hear Prince & Bruno Mars. You'll hear the new classic. Ellison has played in clubs, festivals and churches alike all over. He has traveled to London, Ontario and as far as Copenhagen, Denmark to perform his music. He has opened for artists like Switchfoot, T-Bone and Apologetix. He's had the opportunity to sit in and play alongside Grammy award-winning and chart-topping R&B star Kelly Price, the world renowned group Hilsongs and most recently the Detroit Combined Band at Ford Field in Detroit in front of over 25,000 people.
