ElinSynnøve Elin Synnøve Bråthen Oslo Elin Synnøve Bråthen is a performing artist, singer and songwriter, originally from the magical arctic north of Norway. Signed to quality label Curling Legs/Pop Division she has released "Perfect Addiction" (2016), "Time To Cross" (2012) and the album "The Anchor And The Dream" (2010) under her personal name, and "Earthly Things" (2007) with her 5-piece-band - Eliksir - in Oslo, Norway. She has featured on a number of other artists' albums, contributing as guest vocalist, composer, lyricist, and arranger. She won the Exposure Music Awards in the UK and later a remix of one of the tracks reached the UK Top 20 House Chart. Her music can be described as alternative pop, melodious and catchy, with an overall ambient retro sound and strong signature. The lyrics are inspired by her dream-journal, making the songs fairytale-like as well as deeply personal. International press went over the moon raving about both albums, giving her shared spots with Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, and US Idol winners in European music magazines, appearing on SKY Channel (VJ Serial), and Irish poets and music critics praised her lyric-writing: A musical world to be visited, affected by, and revisited.
