Dead Man Walking by Eli Evans published on 2019-01-15T06:27:50Z Imagine a condemned man bitterly explaining to the person who is interviewing him just before his execution how nobody, even the interviewer, really cares if he is guilty or innocent, or whether he ends up in Heaven or Hell once he's dead. I started playing around with some polyrhythmic drum lines, and it ended up sounding like an old-timey rootsy blues rhythm (natch), so I went with it. The time signature is 15/4, because that's where the periods of all the drums align. The entire piece sticks on one chord, Bm7. Blues is not my area, FWIW. This is an old piece that I remodeled (and expanded) using various EastWest libraries.
