Lina Alexaki, aka Eliethel, creates a hybrid of electronic and organic sounds with intricate atmospheric textures, flanked by crackling percussive loops and layered with prominent yet ethereal melodic lines. She cites influences such as Björk, Sigur Rós, Imogen Heap, Trentemøller and Peter Gabriel, but the result of her tinkerings is something altogether different, fresh and original.

“Many creators of ambient music have a ‘space’ theme; I chose not to. My thematic and narrative palette concerns mostly with fantasy, dreams, fiction and inner worlds… Even when I compose music about distant stars”.
