Soliloquies is permeated by a central physical action: the slow, semi-vertical drag of the bow upon each instrument's scordatura string, unveiling a timbral inner world of granular, low and guttural frequencies. Bound by this core gesture, a network of sonic spaces evolves and is investigated freely. Nested moments of soliloquy emerge in pockets: intimate and fragmented but connecting spaces. Searching for individual expression, these voices are increasing personal, corporeal and human.
