Firstly, how has studying big data, statistics and algorithms changed your political standpoint? How has your perception that liberal order is unprepared for the power inherent in data progressed as you’ve developed your expertise in statistics? Secondly, do you believe that the use of algorithms and data within companies such as Walmart or Amazon is a byproduct of capitalism, the elite theory, state interest or something completely different- perhaps neo Marxism? Lastly, during the podcast you mentioned the use of algorithms and targeted advertising against users on the websites Facebook, Google and Amazon. In your opinion, out of those three previously mentioned major organisations, which show the most extreme example of abusing personal profile information using data and algorithm learning machines? 2017-11-11T14:07:07Z Comment by Nader Gol I find it strange that you guys only focus on comments and reviews that you get on your largest platform Apple store, while the entire content of this episode was promoting smaller distributers such as soundckoud. 2017-08-29T17:50:01Z
