EbonyEvans Ebony Evans Atlanta Coming from a rich heritage of music, the Harlem, Georgia native is no stranger to the music industry. Ebony Evans was introduced to the world by the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, and signed to his label at the age of 12 in 1992. From performing at halftime for major league sports events to appearances on the national television show Star Search as a child, Ebony Evans began developing her skills early. Years later in 1999 Ebony Evans was a featured soloist on the Grammy nominated Georgia Mass Choir album: Georgia Mass Choir Present Youth For Christ: "Higher". Finally after several failed record deals, she signed to independent label Emandolynn Music in 2007 Ebony Evans and released her critically acclaimed independent debut album Luv's Fire to rave reviews internationally. She then followed that with the 2011 critically acclaimed sophomore album You Did It All. Both albums original sounds and songs, reminiscent of the 'classic soul' sound of the 60's, and 70's, provided a platform for what national and international radio and magazine media called a "young lady whose name you will recognize for years to come".
