EAST SHADOW EAST SHADOW Brooklyn East Shadow, born Michael Punch raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn, NY. His rugged voice compliments his urban yet classic poetic style influenced by The Notorious BIG, Tupac, DMX, The Lox, Jay-z, Nas, G-unit, DPG, Scarface, Wu-tang, and many more. His mission is to become an advocate for the ghetto, as pain is his motivation. East Shadow has been making music for over a decade, but for the past two years he has decided to take a more serious approach and go indie. In 2014 he created his own record label, Da Formula Entertainment. Since then he has released three mixtapes titled “Goons of Thrones”,”Wolf of all Streets”, and “Shadow Walk”. From then he released his freshman and sophomore albums titled “Midnight Jungle Part I” and “Midnight Jungle Part II: Concrete Ambush”. He is currently working on his latest project titled, "The East Shall Set You Free" set to release June 2, 2016. Multi-talented he has written, recorded, and engineered all three of his mixtapes and his freashmen album. He has directed and edit his own videos. He is also the author a book titled,“Innocent Murder”. Living by the saying, "My dreams are worth more than sleep", his goals are to create a legacy not only for himself but more so his love ones. He wants to be able to open doors for people of the struggle worldwide and represent Brooklyn to the fullest.
