With an extensive release schedule on labels such as Miami Underground, 3 Plus Music, Thousand Recordings and many more over the last decade Rodrigo Ferrari has established himself as one of Brazil’s premier DJ/producers. After graduating from the British School of Audio Engineering in 2003 Rodrigo has steadily built his reputation through his solo work, his collaborations with artists such as Igor Cavalera and Laima Leyton and his remixes for the likes of Marcelo Nassi, Rafael Yapudjian and Roland Clark on Kevin Yost’s I! Records. As a DJ he holds a residency at Pacha Sao Paolo, has mixed compilations for Pacha Brazil, done podcasts for Creamfields Brazil and appeared on respected blogs like Cool Magazine. After meeting at the Amsterdam Dance Event 2015 Pablo del Monte snapped up the EP for East Recordings and lent his hand to remix the lead track. Pablo has been building his name over the last year with his releases on his own label, Maison Records and Audiophile Deep, and gaining extensive blog support through 2015 from Big Shot Mag, DMC World and Ibiza Voice amongst others. Diggin’ That Bass is a tough house track with jackin’ snares, a trippy arpeggiated synth lead and a spoken word vocal topline. The Dig Mix has a deeper feel to it with a breakbeat and a warm pad layered over a four-to-the-floor beat. To round the EP off nicely the Pablo del Monte Remix takes things mainroom tech-house in direction. All three versions have been causing serious damage on underground dance floors around the world.
