DZ'OB Electroacoustic ensemble Dnipro DZ'OB is an electroacoustic ensemble from Dnipro (Ukraine). A cross-genre 7-piece orchestra crashes to the ground a well-established musical concept in which, for example, house and art music exist in completely different frames of reference. Eventually, DZ’OB not only synthesizes disparate genres, the band comes up with their unique, eclectic sound that blurs the line between epochs, schools and traditions. Piano Preludes by Shostakovich fused with bits and samples are reborn in the most incredible pieces of IDM. With the same radicalism in musical technique, DZ'OB treats songs of one of our time’s most eccentric DJs - Aphex Twin. Suchwise ensemble generates inconceivable instrumental metamorphosis: electronic music becomes academic with a wave of a cello bow. DZ'OB is not about genres, but a new vision of the music itself.
