Dwelling of Objects is the pseudonym for ambient music producer and composer Patrick Allen Browning. He began recording ambient music in his bedroom as a teenager under the stage name, Lollard, before experimenting with a variety of other styles of music as he made his way to Tennessee and through college. Having come from a musical family where he was exposed to shoegaze, dream pop, and electronic music as a teenager, Browning developed an affinity for ambient music in particular, which inspired him to pursue a degree in audio production from Middle Tennessee State University, supplemented with a degree in philosophy--a degree which allowed him to study the philosophy and phenomenology of music. Through his audio production degree, he gained experience engineering, producing, and developed his skills as a sound designer. Browning now operates out of his home studio in Nashville, TN.
