With “Lemon Cello” Dunkelbunt composes a “Chanson Electronique”. Sonically situated somewhere between Vienna and Paris, rhythmically an homage to the dormant dance and club culture. The longing is audible. “Tout le monde est là, embrasse moi, on va on va fêter ça!” which means roughly: All the world is there, embrace me and that’s what we are celebrating! With these words the singer “Lisa Cantabile” evokes the current zeitgeist. DJ and producer Ulf Lindemann uses the original theme of “Ideocello” – a song from the cello-accordion duo “Marie Spaemann” and “Christian Bakonic” - as an harmonic substructure, from which he weaves a Dunkelbunt sound tapestry par excellence.
