Wayne's passion for music started at a very early age when he discovered house music, he bought his first compilation in 1993 (aged 12) which was Fantazia House Collection. From then his love grew stronger and loving Dj's such as Graham Gold, Mike Cosford, Tony Di Vit and Sister Bliss. At the age of 16 he was attending House Classic nights, until his attention was swayed by a new sound coming threw, Trance.
Wanting to get more involved with the music Wayne purchased his first set of decks, where most of his income got spent on vinyl every week. After spending endless amounts of time practicing, he soon started getting gigs at his local night club, but he was hungry to see what else the club scene had to offer and went looking for the Trance scene. He didn't have to far to look as just 30 miles away from his home town, was a club which was starting to become very popular with Trance fans. Gatecrasher was the night at the Republic in Sheffield, this was a massive eye opener to Wayne seeing Dj's like Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and many more world class internationals on a weekly basis. This continued for many year's until unfortunately the club burnt down, it had always been a dream to play for Gatecrasher one day wayne knew that would never happen now or would it?
In 2008 Wayne started playing more Trance gigs out in his area, where he met Lee Tracy & Stuart Turner A.K.A Digitally Afflicted. And after some talks they asked Wayne to join them on a production side. After working in the studio for a year or so with remixes to use in there sets, they decided to start some original work after making Rise of the Fallen, unfortunately the track was never signed but was supported on Orla Feeney's Taster show. Not giving up they started a collaboration with The Technicians and after months of work they finished 'Roll Up' which was a driving tech trance track and went to number 10 in the Track It Down Trance chart. They started doing gigs for the likes of Rong in Manchester, Send Off, Essence vs Boom and other nights around the country where they had played with names such as Marco V, Richard Durand, Marcel Woods, Bryan Kearney, First State plus many more. They had entered a competition to play a set at Gatecrasher Birmingham, where the fans voted for who they wanted to see play. After a week of votes they were top of the table and Wayne got that dream come true moment to play for the brand that he had always love from a early age, with such a big line up Dash Berlin, Marco V, Sean Tyas, Lisa Lashes and many more on the bill this was a massive step up. Also doing guest mixes for Orla Feeney, Marc Simz, Trance Traffic and Kane FM in London things were looking up.
In June 2012 Wayne decided to make the life changing move to Brisbane Australia, with his wife. After 6 months Wayne & Lee decided to put the Digitally Afflicted project on hold, as it didn't feel right not been side by side doing events and productions.
Not long after being in Brisbane Wayne started to play some local gigs. He was then asked to join the Amon Records, Trance Anthems White party line up in Brisbane, with the likes of Alex M.O.R.P.H, Chris Schweizer and Ben Nicky. Then followed his debut at the Gold Coasts number one club Platinum where he played on the Trancessentail night, following that he was asked to play brisbane's biggest club Family where he closed the night after TyDi. Around that time he got news that he had been asked to play The Canadian festival Fantasia EDM 2014, things are really coming together for this Leeds lad. Lets see what 2014 has to offer!
Wayne also does a download mix where he takes tracks from all era's and genre's,keep your ear's and eyes open for his 'No Reason' mixes on his sound cloud
