Dubstrong is not a one style DJ. Who chooses his dancefloor goes on a journey through hip hop, funk, soul, brazil, breaks & beats, all tied by a strong influence of Jamaican dub and dancehall. It's a real trip over the latest trends in music or it's roots, which Dubstrong wishes to maintain.
Resident DJ at Sao Paulo's finest clubs Dubstrong has become one of the most sought after DJs in the country, his good entry with the public led him to be precise reference in the main events of its kind in Brazil. Fact is that the DJ was responsible for opening presentations of key icons of music such as Public Enemy, Snoop Doggy Dog, De La Soul, DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, DJ Z-Trip, Bomb The Bass, Kruder & Dormeister, DJ A-Trak, Kid Loco, Mad Professor, U-Roy, The Wailers among others.
In the years of 2010 and 2013 Dubstrong was the winner of Sao Paulo's edition of 'Red Bull Thre3Style' World DJ Championships.
Before that, in 2001, Dubstrong joined the line-up of the first 'Ecosystem' festival organized by DJ Soul Slinger that shook Amazonian lands with many international guests. Even outside of Sao Paulo, showed his work in Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Camburiu, Blumenau, Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Manaus, Salvador, Goiania, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia and Campos do Jordao, as well as presentations in clubs in Los Angeles (Low End Theory) and New York, always at large events and they had in their sights biggest names in national and international scene.
Resident DJ at the prestigious 'Chocolate' party since 2002, Dubstrong joins his partners DJs Zegon, Nuts, Primo (rip) and King to bring the public quality music and receive at their parties starry international names like Cut Chemist, Madlib, Wildchild, Busy P, DJ Roc Raida, DJ Nu-mark (Jurassic 5), DJ Revolution, Maseo (De La Soul), Mayer Hawthorne, DJ Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z), J-Live, Boogie Blind, The Alchemist, DJ Green Lantern, Mixed Sinista (X-Ecutioners) the Beat Junkies J.Rocc, Babu and Shortkut.
Dubstrong is also founder of Echo Sound System, a brazilian collective sound system who releases an critic aclaimed album "Tempo Vai Dizer' in 2004.
