Domestic Sound Cupboard Alex Jones, James Macpherson, Pete Terry Owen, Dali de Saint Paul, Flo Bristol An eight-piece collective with an electromagnetic stage presence, Domestic Sound Cupboard come together to create improvised music from scratch, chaos very much embraced. Each performer in DSC brings their own perspective and background to the melting pot, clashing and combining in anarchic new forms: vocals, brass, drums, lo-fi synth noises and live-laptop spikes and soundbaths. Every month DSC hosts a night (The Sound Cupboard) at the Crofters Rights on Stokes Croft, which has been gathering a following as a haven for improvisers and sonic mavericks.
