Drowne Records is back and welcomes the up-and-coming neapolitan talent Booz, who unleashes three originals and shows up with club-aimed techno at it’s best!
Taking off with a mighty, bulbous kickdrum, the title track 'Ibrido' evolves quickly and delights it's listener with propelling structures, ethereal vocal snatches, and well seated effects. Whilst putting focus on the atmosphere 'Ibrido' creates a vicious, hypnotic appeal the track centres around.
Follow-up 'Jaws' is really remarkable, and shows up with a rolling bassline and an uplifting atmosphere. Bright synth stabs carefully build a melody around the off-beat emphasised structure, while various effects round off this peak-time banger!
Last, but not least 'On Off' is a floor-filling roller with a frantic feeling and works with simple, but effective one-note synthstabs and forceful breaks.
In conclusion this release covers varying moods, reaching from vicious and hypnotic atmospherics over to uplifting melodies!
