Dr.X Official Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona) Dr.X is a band formed in early 2013 by Alex, Guillem and Mayer, friends who had been playing together since they were 15. In the next months, Victor and Karry joined them. With the band fully formed, they recorded their first EP ‘Meet the Doctor’ during the summer and released it on November 4th, 2013. The album received good reviews. After several months of gigs around Catalonia, Madrid and France, in June 2014 Guillem decided to leave the band. The rest of the members decided to not replace him and continue with only one guitarist. During 2015 the band stopped gigging to focus on the composition of new songs and in August they started to record ‘Reborn’, their first LP, a more prog rock oriented work. The album was released on July 7th, 2016 under label Eventhink Metal Records.
