Double G #410UpNext Baltimore Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Double G is an American Alternative Hip-Hop Artist who didn’t pick up a mic until the age of 24. After deciding not to pursue professional baseball, he shifted his focus to his long time love of music. Combining his undeniable skill at writing with his passion to succeed at rapping, G has made quite a name for himself since releasing his first mixtape in the summer of 2016. He’s 100% independent with no investment help, every penny comes directly from his own pocket, which fuels his hunger to succeed. His projects “Here to Stay," “Struggle”- EP, and “#Grindseason” have laid a concrete foundation for the Maryland emcee, having multiple songs off each album eclipsing 100k total streams a piece. 2020 singles “Lately (Remix),” “In the End,” “Late Nights, “ and “My Story” are a step above anything G has released digitally and have catapulted online with the help of various YouTube channels, which has put a lot of excitement and anticipation on 2021. Busting onto the Maryland performance scene, Double G has performed at various venues in the 410, while also rocking stages in Chicago, NYC and DC. Looking to build on this wave, G was focused on booking “as many shows as possible” in 2021.
